Coffee was a nickel 200 years ago? That’s outrageous!

I remember when gas would go on sale for 25 cents. How old does that make me?

People started drinking coffee in the 14th century, Broomie would have been in her 900’s/

She’s really, really old and that coffee is getting really, really cold.

There was a drug store next to where I worked in the early seventies that sold coffee for a nickle.

On the rare occasion when I stop in a Starbucks, I order a “medium coffee” just to pi ss them off.

The other day I ordered a cappuccino with oat milk in the organic shop I like to go to. Theyhave a lovely café area there. Well, it cost me 4.80 € and the cup was barely bigger than an espresso cup. Perhaps the mount like 2 esspressi bot not more. The cappuccino tasted incredibly good but with this prize I will keep this a treat for days like birthdays or winning the lottery. :-/

Oh Broomie, you’re not just paying for the coffee! You’re also paying for that drive-through “experience”. Take your time. Put the car in “D” and sit back and enjoy the brew.

I like listening to old radio shows. It was great when someone would get a turkey sandwich and a cup of coffee and get charged 35 cents.
