My wife does not trust Home Depot suggested installers and it is not unusual for it to take a week for them to come out. I am currently waiting impatiently for a referral for a test my HMO does not do in house.
If you really do not want your basement too flood, get a battery backup sump pump. Ours will work for about three days, which also covers for power outages.
I don’t know how many times I wished they had a fill-in section so I could write, “Everything was fine, BUT I HATE THESE ANNOYING SURVEYS!” But now I just ignore them entirely.
