It would take a lot of chickadees to make a decent amount of jerky

…with a hint of catnip.

What seasonings did you use in the jerky?

Nooooo! And stay away from canary eyelids…I hear they’re addictive….

That’s the weird thing about cat food. Salmon? Beef? Cats don’t eat those things in nature. Mouse and Robin, those make sense!

I like chickadees. Maybe something non-native? House sparrow?

Are those worse than catnip?

This is complete fantasy. I can accept a cat sitting like that and also making jerky, but CHICKADEE jerky? Impossible. They would never let a cat get close enough. I suspect it’s robin jerky that the cat is passing off as chickadee.

The timing for this is perfect for me. I just placed a big order with Fusion Jerky this morning and tomorrow I am picking up some bison and moose jerky from a friend in Nanaimo.

Our daughter liked to pretend to be a cat when she was little. Her favorite snack bird was the chickadee.
