The Dr. Who episode is the one I thought of too.
I vote for Lisa’s - the blankness perfectly describes the void that is centered in our lives, and yet gives an almost hopeful promise of a rebirth of longing in what may be inferred as a somewhat tattered dream of humanity - yet the inherent vibrancy we can only sense at this point becomes almost gauzily visible as we attempt to study this work through the intense eyes the painter must have focused to achieve this stunning complexity.
(Don’t you just love the babble of most art critics, or am I being “overly critical”?) (Oh, beHAVE!)
Lisa’s picture is a cow eating grass. So, where’s the grass? The cow ate it.
And where’s the cow?
You don’t expect the cow to stick around when there’s no grass, do you?
Thanks, I’d forgotten about ”FEAR HER” Does anyone recall the segment of ”THE TWILIGHT ZONE MOVIE” the remake of the Infamous Billy Mummy story only this time the boy wished a little girl into his TV where she was chased by cartoon monsters (& maybe eaten,I think). GREAT, now I have to go to YOUTUBE and pull up F.H. and see how The Doctor got outta that one.

Is the resemblance between the girl and the monster in panel 2 on purpose or a happy accident?

Note the boy in the last panel, “Rich”. That’s Richard Thompson as I imagined him as a boy.

Lio could say that his work is a still-life… if Lisa’s still alive.

Is Liō’s green paintbrush comparable to Green Lantern’s ring?

Is this the same pen that Lio used in the beggining of the second Lio comic book Silent but Deadly
