    Ah, it took me a while but now I get it. When we see a whale stranded on a beach, it’s just trying to get a tan.

    The green backhoe was, pardon the expression, a red herring having nothing to do with the joke, tho the John Deere comment above might be correct.

    Nice try but too much work to be very funny.

    the joke would have worked better if this creature looked more like a whale than a shark, and if he mentioned getting a tan on the beach. :o)

    If it is a whale, it is an ORCA, the only whale with that kind of nose and that large a dorsal fin
