Today’s strip originally appeared on Saturday, May 23, 1987.  The upcoming strips will make less sense if you don’t read the one that appeared on that Sunday. Since only the weekday strips are being re-run, here you have theBloom County strip that appeared on Sunday, May 24, 1987. GoComics, please include the Sundays in the reruns of classic strips!

—And as for today’s strip: Cross-species incompatibility? Is this great love match doomed? —By unequal probosces?!

I don’t think Gocomics reads these comments, but I would also love to see the Sundays included. That one was great. I loved all the TV screens.

Thanks for the Sunday link. The context will be a mystery to some.

I thought there might be some compatability issues on the honeymoon, however, I did think that Opus would at least get to first base!!!

Anytime you expect a buckaroo to jump up and plant something somewhere…surely disaster is to follow…

Aw, come on Opus. If Brian Griffin can manage it, you can too.

Thanks, Strod, for the link. I always liked that particular Sunday, even used to have it on my bulletin board of humor. It always reminds me of the John Prine song “Living in the Future”
