johnnyd it’s been nice in the Atlanta area - low 80s today, tomorrow, and Monday - got the windows open and enjoying the fresh air.

docT sending more good luck your way

cleo Torchwood and Sarah Jane are two Doctor Who spinoffs. Sarah Jane was directed more at children and had children starring along with her (she’s from the original doctor who - 4th doctor, I think). Torchwood is definitely geared more toward adults and I think there was even one ep that had an MA rating. All have the same type of humor and adventure running through them. Most plots are about saving the world (or sometimes just a city).

Akenta I LOVE Dr. Who & Torchwood. Sarah Jane Chronicles were ok. I also catch Primeval, which is about time/space anomolies which open between the past and present into today. They killed off a main character in the middle (not the end, the middle!! ) because the critters are quite nasty…especially the 2 legged ones. There’s one starting next Saturday about vampires….along the lines of True Blood but it does look different.

    I love BBC America.

Yesterday (a hearing)was really rough. Not the outcome I expected, and I was cloistered from 9:30a.m. to 4:00p.m. with short breaks to cry, eat or washroom break.- not in that order necessarily.

Then I went to the visitation of my friend’s Dad Bill and his funeral this morning. His twin brothers and two other brothers were there from Cape Breton- It was like being in a room with clones of Bill at different ages. It was un-nerving and strangely comforting at the same time. Sort of like talking to him all over again.

Bill was a great guy- funny, caring, strong faith and someone everyone loved. We’ll all miss him.

    Thanks for listening.

Dawn- Of course, your post showed when I refreshed. Bill is -was five years older than the twins. They are fraternal. And then there was another brother, that brother’s sone there- they ALL looked like Bill. Except two were sort of brown-skinned, so we sort of wondered it there is native blood in there somewhere. Bill is Ukranian-or maybe it’s his wife who is. Bill’s family is from cape Breton, on the Cabot Trail. We wondered why Bill moved to Toronto in his twenties.

That may be a mystery. Jen says she hasn’t seen her uncles for 30 years.

There may be trouble for me Dawn- to early to tell. Can’t say at any rate. Thank for asking.
