Quick question: Is anyone having trouble over at Comics.com? It doesn’t recognize my password, so when I tried to change it they sent the link which gets the 404 screen of death. I’m so frustrated…………….. <>

Thanks Dr. Toon I’ve probably totally screwed up my signon trying to set up a new password, etc, etc. All the stuff you do when you think you’ve screwed up.

I think I’m gonna add the duplicates to this site, and if/when Comics.com comes back up and behaves I’ll just delete those.

There. I got about half of my comics from over there over here now. Makes it easier to see comments, too.

I had trouble yesterday. If they didn’t have 9CWL in color, and Ben and Raising Duncan, I could find another site. Yahoo comics has all the others I read from over there. Haven’t tried them today yet. Oh yes, and you can save them to a favorites list, which you can’t at Yahoo.

Wow, I just had to change clothes again. I went outside to take care of a couple of chores and I should have put rain pants on because all the water rolled off my raincoat and soaked my pants. Dag blasted clothing.

That clothing always gets in the way, doesn’t it?!

It is much more pleasant being soaked with rain when naked than it is when clothed. That’s why it is so stupid to wear bathing suits.

Man! What did someone write on page 3? I replied to Cleo and after I replied, refreshed, and now my filter’s blocking that page. Oh well. I need to be writing thank you cards anyway. I plan on trying to stay on top of that task, instead of letting that pile up. Writing by hand is one of my least favorite things to do, since I have to slow down to write neatly. (No backspace allowed when using a pen.)

Dry - Your comment reminds me that when my wife were in Jamestown, Virginia, we did a loop drive around the little peninsula near the historic park. We stopped, got out of our car and as we were reading a posted historic write up, a large tree suddenly fell right before our eyes. It wasn’t windy, so it was quite surprising. It also made me realize how vulnerable we are. It could have fallen on top of us if it had fallen in our direction. We never would have been able to get out of it’s path because it came as such a surprise.

Cleo, if it weren’tt so funny, us poking fun at you, I would say, yes, that’s happened to me on way more than one ocassion!

Congrats, Mopar! I’m so glad there is some good news for you, with all that you & your wife have had happened recently.

I hope your wife does okay without her thyroid. None of my family have had theirs removed, but both of my parents & one brother have had to have medication for thyroid problems. It it is a pretty important gland.
