@Tabby, when visiting my relatives in Ariz., I actually saw people driving up into the mountains to fill a trailer or pickup bed with snow–some had a snowman as well–and then drive back down to the valley with it. THey had snowball fights in shorts and tank tops…guess you need to live nearer some real mountains…

Dry I figured you did, but one never knows. And who can tell, mebbe a few of the lurkers have been enlightened now. I’ve seen jobs at my company move to Shanghai. WE WORK VESSELS from Shanghai. The only thing that Shanghai can’t do right now is local customer service. That’s one point my company tries to utilize to put us ahead of the pack…..we don’t have a centralized customer service, we have 5 regions with 6 offices (Houston and Chicago are in the same region….but Houston knows more about Mexico then our group in Chicago).

Oh well, we’ll just have to reinvent ourselves. My worry is my husband may be too old to reinvent…..but he’s trying.

I was working on a bunch of hymns, and could only think of “Lydia the Tattooed Lady”; my pastor/boss was bopping around singing “Lamb of God” by baa-ing; a congregation member is upset because we gave a summer sausage and donated food to a family who had no food and she had to buy another sausage to send to a military member (no double entendres, please), our youth director insisted on showing me videos on You Tube… it was not a productive day.

Cleo, I went from Brownsville to Austin to Chicago to San Diego to Bremerton to Corpus Christi to here in FL. My husband joined the military in Chicago so all the moves after that were military related. We’ve been here in FL since ‘03.

Cleo, a lot of people that I explain what I have to laugh if they watch House as they use it as an excuse when they don’t know what’s wrong. Even my doctors get a laugh from it.
