i heard a joke about a little boy the kids always picked on. everydy they would show him a nickel and a dime and tell him to pick one. he always chose the nickel. an older man witnessed it everyday and one day went to the boy and told him “you know they are making fun of you and you know the dime is worth more you should take the dime” the boy replies “well if I did that they would stop doing it”

now he has the right idea..

It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out that Calvin would find some way of keeping the $20. I would’ve suggested that if he wants to show me a trick he use his own $20.

Hmmm. Wish I could see the comic. I have tried several different browsers but can’t get any to come up. I contacted the site’s support two days ago but they don’t seem to be interested in addressing the issue.

Dad hasn’t been as smart as Uncle Max, even with all the experience!

The joke about the little boy always taking the nickel reminds me of the time a fellow worker bought a VW, and he kept bragging about his gas milage. His “pals” kept upping his milage by adding a little gas to the tank every day. A buddy told him that he was being taken by his “Pals”, and his reply was the same as the little boy.

Boy, Uncle Max would not fall for it after Calvin asks him for twenty dollar bill. Max is way too smart for Calvin. Calvin is just too young and still learns more when he grows.

Uncle Max may not be a low watt bulb, but Dad obviously fell for it.

Hi cheminant what browser/s have you tried? The only thing I can think of that would stop you viewing the strip is if you have your browser set to not display images. Go to your computers control panel -> Internet Options -> Advanced tab, then scroll down until you get to the Multimedia section, and make sure Show pictures has a check next to it.

If you get images from other sites then I have no idea as to your problem, you could try right clicking on the image place holder and select view image (varies depending on browser)
