I see that when I post a comment, and look for it immediately, the system says that I posted it an hour ago. Are they measuring it from a time zone that’s one hour ahead of me? I’m in the Eastern Daylight zone.

charlie - Not all chickens are female - all HENS are female, the males are roosters. But chickens can be either male or female.

I wonder if the Pterodactyl would have been the same size as the chicken…Calvin would probably be just as mad, yuk yuk yuk…

Calvin became a chicken and then he should lay eggs for Easter that will be coming sooner. lols!

when I was 4 yrs. old, the roosters on our farm could be every bit as intimidating as a pterodactyl. Especially when I was barefoot. They would chase me and peck at my heels. The upside of it was that I learned early and without quals how to behead a chicken for a fresh dinner.

Oh My!!! imagination is good! Hobbes just get hungry, carnivore. Chickens his favs! lol all the things in his mind. but I thought hes doesnt eat raw food any more? guess hes just miss the taste of chicken. lol

@RinaFarina, others of us are mathematicians too, if not professionals. The real difference between a toridical doughnut and a Klein bottle version is that when you turn them inside out, the torus is changed, but not the Klein bottle one. :-) And that reminds me of the jape that a topologist is a fellow who can’t tell the difference between his coffee cup and his doughnut.

Owlsey, you are right M C Escher rocks!! I’ve been fascinated by his work since I came across him as a high school student. I turned several people onto him with my posters of his work in my college apartment. Decades later, I still see new things I missed before when viewing his work. One of my favorite is his self-portrait showing his hand holding a crystal ball while the reflection obviously shows him sitting in his library. I’ll have to research Klein bottles because I have to admit I am not familar with them.
