Coming Soon đ At the beginning of April, youâll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
And again I say without apology: those of you who think Calvin deserves the least help from Suzie or anybody else at this point are out of your minds.
Not, of course, that Suzie is any better off fighting fire with fire. Those who live by the dirty little passed note, die by the dirty little passed note! :)
Good morning to all! At this pont itâs not a question of âifâ but âwhenâ they get married, isnât it? Itâs so obvious they are in love. All Calvinâs gotta do is the Tom Sawyer thing and take the punishment for her. By the way âEep!â? Thatâsa great reaction!
Went to emails, opened my daily gocomics newsletter, see this is the only one. Figure, well that could be a glitch, go online, NOPE no Glitch! Whatâs up with this?
BTW, I forget how this plays out, but right now, I would say Calvin is a dead man walking!
the nice thing is that they WILL get married someday and make each other miserable for the rest of their lives! poor Hobbes will be their marriage counselor!
Calvin is bound to get into much-much deeper trouble, but he is accustomed to that and it does not worry him so much. At least he has some fun with Susie.
About Susie⊠Well, it is experience. It is quite useful to get into trouble now and then. Builds character, says Calvins dad. ;)
I donât know which company owns/distributes which comics, but Iâm seeing trouble on other sites also. Yesterday, the Washington Post comics page hadnât updated some strips for Sunday, and today some havenât been updated for Monday either. Not to mention a real crisis: Dear Abby hasnât been updated for today! So thereâs a glitch out there somewhere.
Lose the vinegar, Susie. Start serving honey and by recess you will have Calvin so confused he wonât know how to react ⊠and You are the one with the completed project :) Bug - Off, Calvin!
Itâs all over the place (lack of updates). All the news seems to be updating, but the comics and games arenât. Miami Herald, USA Today, Washington Post, LA Times â all of their comics and games are either from yesterday or Saturday. I know a majority of this content is sourced from uclick.com â I wonder if thatâs where the problem is.
Just kidding. But it is funny to see her squirm in a situation to which is so unaccustomed. And as the truth comes out, it will only reveal Calvinâs unpreparedness.
Susie, that kind of note could get Homeland Security swooping down on the school, at very least youâll be suspended for 10 days for terroristic writtings. Good thing you didnât shake your finger at him!
Yes but comics.com is for lack of a better description, breaking up, some of the strips are fuzzy, out of alignment, etc. You canât really read some of them.
âyour only validation is in living your own lifeâ
FAIR WARNING- finding where this is quoted from will expose you to profanity⊠donât look if youâd rather not see it. I only quote it because it sums up my take on the whole thing quite nicely :) which is to say, sometimes âliving your own lifeâ and being your own person (something I value quite highly) means a trip (or ten) to the principals office, and every kid should make the journey at least once⊠If you follow every rule, youâll never lead anything, not even yourself ;)
Itâs not just bad luck Susie got caught. As mentioned in the previous incident, Calvin was aware that the teacher was not looking when he did his talking. Susie needs to learn to be smarter about when she misbehaves! Calvin could teach her a few thingsâŠ
Susieâs face is as red as a beet!
She might have to acknowledge defeat.
What if she grovels at Wormwoodâs feet,
She will at least get off the hot seat.
Suzie shouldnât have responded. Thatâs what Calvin wants. He must be chortling. My guess is that his delight will be short-lived. Surely, Miss Wormwood will discover his note to Suzie.
Miss Wormwood is the real culprit here! She should be at least sufficiently familiar with her students to know who to blame in a situation like this â Calvin of course!!
Tho I have to admit it is kinda fun to watch Susie get her knickers in a twist over such a sweet poem from our boy Calvin.
And Ratlum â âcushy jobâ I think not â especially dealing with Calvin. I think Miss W is just too old for it.
The site WAS very slow today, and I read comics on 4 sites, so I went on to WaPo and did not get back here until after lunch- now it is sunset and Iâll be retiring soon. I just go with the flow ;-)

Calvin and Suzie should just admit their undying love for one and other!! They are so going to get hitched when they grow up!!! :-)
Lyons Group, Inc. almost 15 years ago
I myself are seeing strips from yesterday (5/16/10). Is it that, a revolt fo the cancellation of Annie? If thatâs the case, Iâm in!!

HUGH There are 4 comics today? Which? I searched for this one.
Is there a cold front in Hades today? Not one poster has taken Calvinâs side. Even I cannot defend him.
