Coming Soon 👀 At the beginning of April, you’ll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
I usually only visit each of the comics I read once per day. Sometimes, if I left a comment, I will go back a day or two (or three) later to see if there were any more comments left after mine.
The comment you were replying to that I addressed yesterday was mine.
You have absolutely the most bleak and depressing life view of anyone I have ever run across. Is that typical of atheists?
Maizing: Actually, I have a very enjoyable life view - it’s the “death” view where we differ. Jimmy Stewart talked to his imaginary rabbit in “Harvey”, and I see no reason why you shouldn’t talk to your imaginary man in the sky. I happen NOT to talk to an imaginary man in the sky. These discussions are pointless, really, but if you insist on injecting your religious views into comments on cartoons, of course you’re going to hear opposing opinions. Save your religion for church and we’ll all be better off.
Of course I’ve got to put my 2 cents in whenever there’s an opportunity to stir the pot. There being no way to absolutely prove either side, I pose the following: If the believer is right, after death he or she recieves their reward. If they are wrong, it is meaningless. If the non-believer is right, it is meaningless. If they are wrong, they are screwed. (Gary Larson posed Col. Sanders at the gates of heaven flanked by large chicken statues) I’ll take the believer’s path. It works for me in other ways too but I don’t think you can argue the logic of the above statement. I agree that this is not the best forum for religious discussion but I couldn’t help myself.

No, no, with Jeri, I’m pretty sure it’s stupidity.
