    As an ex meat cutter, I can totally relate to this scenario! Like the meat is going to taste different if it’s thinner???

    I’ve never understood the appeal of very thinly sliced lunchmeat. If you cut it paper thin, you just have to pile more slices on, and it tears much too easily.
