What’s in a name?

It seems to me we have another example of how absurd our striving for political correctness has become ingrained in our culture. If I went to my kids grammar school (grammar school people!!!) and there was a black kid playing scrooge I don’t think it would in any way “affect” my sensibilities about our culture or history.

A couple of years ago, I saw a production of “Our Town” which featured an interracial couple (black male, white female) in the lead roles. The people I was with thought it was wrong but I thought they made a lovely couple.

I think there is way too much emphasis put on the fact that someone is white, black, red, yellow or brown. That really isn’t important at all.

Danny Glover? But then he is “too old for this $#!t.”
