Love the “I CLUB NEW YORK” T-shirt.

Though he’s lucky they had them in size 200XL

Random thoughts that prove I should be in bed…

    1) I hope said touristy places got through in one piece. Not to make light of the fact, but losing the WTC was bad enough.

    2) And just how are they going to stop this thing? Bore it to death?

    3) Maybe it can get an interview with Dave Letterman while it’s there…

    4) You might remember Godzilla’s license plate (in Gary Larsen’s The Far Side): “I 8 NY”…

    5) From the same source: what they really need to do is put up a sign that says, “YOU MUST BE AS TALL AS THIS SIGN TO ATTACK THE CITY”…

    Good night! :)

When I thought of the giant Robot and the Statue of Liberty, I had a different result in mind other than just a visit.

@RogerYou’re thinking of the”Robot and washing machine ‘gag fromROBOT CHICKEN huh? ——————————————————————————– Rakkav: Have you seen Letterman on ‘Entertainment ’ cover (sans pants) ? Reminds me of those ‘Bullhorn gags’ he used to do (“ATTENTION NEW YORK! THIS IS DAVID LETTERMAN AND I’M NOT WEARING ANY PANTS!) Talkabout truthin advertiseing.

Yes, and my current avatar gives a clue as to why. :) Agent X would have a really hard time explaining that event away.

First Doctor: No, haven’t seen those ads, but know the name of his production company is somehow connected.

Second Doctor: Lio has robots?!? (That’s what I get for not watching that strip.) Mo’ betta’ he run into Bill the Barbarian (The Legend of Bill) and suffer Bill’s incompetence with a magic wand. (And if the Wizard of Id stops by to help…)

I’d question why the Giant Robot hasn’t yet taken the time to pick up a famous NYC Style Hot Dog, but, well… Winky’s disguise earlier this week must’ve put him off to it.

Hey, Giant Robot! Wanna split the travel fare with me and take a trip to Chicago? The pizza (and the historic, breakable buildings) there are terrific!

I know I’m stating the obvious here but I love Brewster’s face in that last panel. He is way more angry over the Robot’s being touristy, than he is over the fact that the robot is tearing up the city. Classic!
