I’d say something, but my comments have been getting flagged a lot lately and I’m trying to be more G rated……as if! Oh, and technically it’s not cheating.
hey frog applause lady… I don’t pray but I will do my best to throw some good thoughts out in your direction today and tomorrow… get well soon… better let the stethoscope wearing goats care for ya… if anyone can top the swine it is the devil eyed doctors out there… I give em some dues…
Flight Suit In 76 Jerry Ford warned of a mass infection of Swine Flu. About a quarter of America fell for it and got vaccinated, killing 500. No flu was reported
Lewreader - in 76 Swine Flu was isolated from recruits at Fort Dix, NJ. Three elderly people died after getting the vaccination at the same clinic - no evidence that the vaccination and the deaths were related. More likely that the deaths were related to something specific to the clinic, not the vaccine. The deaths and risks of the vaccine were wildly exaggerated by the press,, and the myth lives on. Perhaps the ‘76 vaccination program was ill-advised, but even given your ‘500 deaths’ out of 40 million vaccinated - pretty small collateral damage considering the risk of a 1918-like pandemic - it’s a very complicated risk/benefit equation with no ‘right’ answer.
T., Hang in there girl. Wish I could think of something witty and buck-upish to say. I’m keeping you in my thoughts and sending all the positive energy your direction that I can…
T, I just recovered from my bout with the Swine Flu, and I sympathize. It really sucks the first 7 days or so, but once your fever breaks it’s all down hill from there. I held my 104 - 105 fever for 6 days. Get plenty of rest, drink ALOT of Gatorade and don’t over do it when you first start feeling better.. GET WELL SOON.

There really are anatomically correct, inflatable sheep that you can buy. I’m not aware of any similar goat product, however.

Reminds me of the story of Cholmondeley. Can’t repeat it here…. Funny, though.

Confession may be good for the soul, but it can be really bad for the reputation.

At least it wasn’t a flatulent goat.
Hugh B. Hayve about 15 years ago
If you ask him, “How was it?” He’ll probably say, “not baaaaad”.

I thought Swine Flu was just some kind of myth the government made up to trick us into getting vaccines we don’t need.

Welcome back, Teresa! Greatly relieved you’re home and on the rebound…
Ray_C about 15 years ago
Your goat’s here, safe with me, Teresa. I’d be glad to keep her for a few more days, if you’d like.
P.S. Great car! Just don’t go out with your head uncovered for a few more days.
