Retiree: URP I just burped. Person on Facebook: Hey, me too! Retiree: Now I feel a sneeze coming on. Why retirement and Facebook can be a bad combination.
I had to print htis one out. My wife and I wsere just discussing last night what the deal is with facebook and twitter. Who cares what youâre doing every instant in the day. If I want to twitter someone, Iâll use the bleeep phone.
yep, by cracky, you young whippersnappers just dont know what it was like back in them olden days. those days of dial phones and changing the tv with pliers after the channel selector stripped its gearsâŠ.
I still donât know the value of facebook or twitter, but at least I know when sister-in-law is watching lost or going to the cakewalk or out of toilet paper.

If I werenât retired, Iâd never have the time to read 150 cartoons a day, let alone comment on some of them. (Itâs cheaper than Prozac.)

Radical-Knight almost 16 years ago
I even remember having to get up walk across the room to change the VHF channel, and pulling off the road to use a pay phone.
