Garfield: So what did you get the missus this year?
Mouse: A cheese grater. That's the look SHE gave me!
Garfield: Mouse, cat, man...we're all in the same boat, pal.
âGarfield doesnât HAVE a missusâ, what about Arlene? Havenât seen her in a while, maybe sheâs at the dentist getting that gap in her teeth fixed?
Wives often buy their husbands tools and work benches, so I donât see why we canât return the favour⊠No more perfume, dresses and nice holidays I say, from now on it should be dish soap, aprons and trips to the market ;)
JP Steve, to answer your question, yes and no. A stethescope is used in Lizâs profession as a veterinarian so itâs not quite the same as a man giving his wife a vacuum cleaner, implying that she needs to clean the house. One seems more demeaning to me than the other. But I guess everyoneâs opinion would be different. But when I think of a household appliance or something used to clean house or do housework it shouldnât be a gift from a husband to a wife implying the housework is all her work and none of his. It should be bought for the household in which anyone can use it.

Garfield loves to eat the birds. He likes to be friend with mice. But, alas, he has to kill the spiders because he despised the spiders. Weird, eh?!

My husband really wanted to buy a vacuum, and I said the only way that itâll be a gift is if he uses it.

If itâs an electric cheese grater, it would be a good gift.
