Given that Iphigene was not only a danseuse but a chantoozie, I’m sure she can take care of herself.. Anyone trying to bring her down is going to get an F over high C to set his ears bleeding, followed by a high kick to the jaw to finish him off.
Once time travel came into this strip, jumping the shark became moot.
I just hope this doesn’t turn into “The Net” with Sandra Bullock. Protagonist finds lead while investigating mystery, lead turns up dead, repeat.
If this were “Lost,” we’d have to wait three years to find out what’s in Aunt Iphigene’s papers. And John Locke would turn out to be that bald guy in the Blue Circle.
