Coming Soon 👀 At the beginning of April, you’ll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your

With a kid like that, soon she’ll go from “temper mental” to just plain “mental.”
And it’s not a typewritter–it’s an environmentally friendly, wireless, manually operated multipurpose word processor (with limited storage capacity) and printer. Use that the next time you’re selling your old typewritter on eBay!
My old Royal manual has been kept for 30 years to remind me of how it got me an English degree and all the job offers I will someday get because of that degree..
I work out of my home and home school my son. He shares my office - sometimes I react exactly as Elly when I’m trying to work and he, avoiding school, is trying to chat.
I can definitely relate to that. That’s a good example of why writers need a retreat to get their work done. There are usually far too many distractions at home.
My roomate types on a typewriter. I walked out of the shower yesterday to the sound of tappity-tap-tappity-tap-tap-tappity. When I made it to the room and figured out what that bleeep noise was, I exclaimed, “ah, the sounds of antiquation”.

Nice to see the good old typewriter back in style. I always knew these fancy “computer” things were just a passing fad.

So I guess we’re being shown how Michael got interested in writing. Good thing he got started before he had kids!

Just a quick note….
Lynn said at FBORFW today, that she goofed on the “Frank” the fish. She forgot he was really named Fred.
The new stuffed Farley dog should be ready for sale Dec. 15. It had trouble passing the safety codes. You can see it at FBORFW.

summerdog: lose the “R”. Lynn’s website is fbofw.com

You will get the site if you use the “R” or not, Jan. There is a FBOFW.com and a FBORFW.com. So you can’t do it wrong.
I just noticed… if you look up top between the fourth and fifth panels it says… 11-09 www.fborfw.com

It would be an interesting 4th wall thing if adult Michael was able to read this strip.
