Wonderful stuff!!!

She must be related!!

I like his angry half-glare in the last panel.

Not good news, but important nonetheless.

Also good: the way Alice’s hair stands on end in Panel 2 when the Uh-Oh Blonde shows up.

This is the kind of thing that makes me so happy Cul de Sac exists! Otherwise, these scary bits of information might escape notice~~~~

Poor Alice - frozen with fear like a deer caught in headlights.

Beni’s going to appreciate having his own ‘portent of doom’ when 2012 rolls around. I should know, I’ve seen the trailer.

Maybe it’s the uh-oh baby’s mom!!!!!! Gasp! I do love Alice’s face in the second panel though.

or maybe this is like soap operas where you have a character who is a baby one week and a year or two later it is now an adult — so maybe this really is the “uh-oh baby”, just grown up!!! If not, maybe there’s some “uh-oh!” virus or something that spreads this horror in the Cul de Sac neighborhood.

It’s people like the Uh-Oh Lady what cause unrest.

They should have the scary, horror flick type music queued for the third panel.

The Uh-Oh Baby is one of my favourite comic strip creations… in the vast history of comic strips… and it is but a simple throw away series of jokes… it could easily take over the entire run of a lesser daily… but competition for that position is way steep on the powerful character driven cul de sac…

I love each and every one of the days that the scary little tyke shows up. I send out e-mails to my friends to come here on those days and to check it out (they are not addicted to the strip in the same way I feel it deserves to be followed).

Now we have the Uh-Oh Adult (I love how rayannina has given her the name Uh-Oh Blonde). Oh Joy!!! Oh Bliss!!!

Another killer strip today Mr. Thompson.

OK, this is the tipping point that has made me go buy Cul de Sac books on Amazon. Wonderful stuff.

Don’t forget, “The UH-oh baby is a portent of DOOM!”

Don’t fall in love with it, that way lies madness - or soiled diaper-changing, I forget which.

I think “uh-oh adults” are the ones who train the “uh-oh babies” before sending them out into the world to spread portents of doom!
