I’m curious to see where this goes. Wasn’t Bernie Mike’s business partner? And why would Boopsie send him to see her agent. Not too long ago she gave him an earful over the whole Polanski deal.

fbjsr, that’s not true. Saying someone is a Jew is perfectly acceptable to Jews. It’s not pejorative. A lot of people feel proud to say they’re Jews, not Jewish.

I think you folks are reading way too much into this.

Nothing wrong with referring to someone as a Jew, in a non-pejorative context. “Jew by blood” is slightly confusing though . You can be Jewish by matrilineal descent or via conversion. The child of a Jewish father only is not Jewish. And the mother must convert before the birth of the child for the child to be considered Jewish, and the conversion only holds at and below the level of the process (i.e., a reform conversion is a pretty simple matter, while conservative is more complicated, and I presume orthodox more rigorous yet).

I still don’t know who is supposedly being stereotyped here.

Actually, there very well may be a Jewish conspiracy. My proof: 2 Jewish people that supposedly hate each other during the week, were seen talking like buddies during the weekly “cake and coffee” meetings in the basement of the local synagogue on Saturdays, Very suspicious if you ask me. Be worried, be VERY worried!
