thatā€™s so true! Mom, a gifted sewer, had one pair for her to use and one pair for her kids to borrow.

Itā€™s not quite fair. I sharpen her scissors to perfection, yet I canā€™t use them.

I laughed so much at Adamā€™s reaction that I forgot to read the comic!

Iā€™m frightened now. Yesterday my wife bought one of those plastic sheeting kits. Only sheā€™s the one who said, ā€œYou wonā€™t need any help - itā€™s a piece of cake.ā€ Think Iā€™ll make sure Iā€™ve got some scissors on hand.

Woulda been funnier if Adam was in a ā€˜Han in Carboniteā€™ pose. >_>

I like Claytonā€™s remark ā€œstuck in the window AGAINā€ like itā€™s not the first time. HA!

Youā€™re right, JAD, the comic would have been much improved if Adam were shown outside the film, with Clayton complimenting his father on a job well done.

We all could have had a warm and wholesome chuckle, and maybe picked up some useful pointers, as well!

ā€œIā€™ve clipped nearly 300,000 newspaper comics for my archive, Iā€™m a bit picky about my scissors too.ā€

And maybe a bit obsessive about your comic collection, Doc. ;^)

Hey Doc, maybe we can start a campaign to have GoComics add ā€œHints from Heloiseā€ to their roster. Nothing entertains your average comics fan more than sound, practical advice.

Iā€™d imagine the fan response would eclipse ā€œPibgornā€, ā€œOverboardā€, and ā€œState of the Unionā€ combined!

    @ vawser:

I would be careful kidding Doc about his comic collection! He has a spare set of scissors to deal with people who say things like that.

    :-D

I would also like to say ā€œThanksā€ to JAD for pointing out the problems with the cartoon - boy, is that cartoonist silly. Thanks again, JAD, your input is always SO helpfulā€¦
