Frank says, "Is he urging us on to victory or telling us to 'take five'?"
Peace, Brother….
Live long and prosper!!!
He has to go ‘number two.’
Each one of you gets to pull one finger.
It’s his rabbit imitation. Roman centurians were notorious for their comic relief in the heat of battle.
See, sissors beats paper every time.
Do any of you “get it?
Not quite, Joe. The V, to be an insult, should be shown with the back of the hand facing the insultee.
he’s saying “clorets is a breath mint! clorets is a candy mint!! it’s two…… two …..two mints in one!”
They’re going for victory so that they can all get a “peace” of the action.
“Smoke ‘em if you got ‘em.” An apparently ancient military phrase.

We see you learned to cut and paste. Very nice. We hope you don’t forget after another 44 years.
Frank …. it’s what ever you feel like doing…my guess is you’ll take 5…….days that is and hope the battle is over by then.
He wants one of you to throw “rock” and the other “paper.”
I didn’t get it when saying “take five” until it came to me: two fingers held up look like a V which the Roman numeral for five.
I thought everyone would get the Roman Numeral for 5. From the previous comments it seems like they did not.
Very funny, the toon for sure and so many people missing it.
It’s VERY clear what it means. It’s not a reflection on the cartoonist’s intent…more a reflection on those who don’t get it.
He’s a USC fan.
