hahaha … “if a girl steals your baseball cap, she likes you … whatever you do, do not hit her , she will know you like her and we boys don’t want that!! ” (said to me in grade 3 or 4 by a ‘friend’.
That’s it, you few English perfectionists, be sure you get everyone else so intimidated, that they won’t want to make any comments for fear of making unforgivable errors. That would certainly make the comment list rather, if not extremely, short.
Neither was Will Rogers a perfectionist in verbalising, but he still made more sense than most.
Cracker Jack prizes were great, and we sewed them on our beanies, but I preferred the flavour of Pink Elephant popcorn. And it was a beautiful shade of pink! Points to Michael for bravery.
What did Mike talk with Deanna after he bumped her in the hall at school? Did he offer her for getting together at the lunchtime or something like that? I am just wondering curiously. Hummmm…. :-/

Hey, I ain’t afraid uv no grammer perfeckshunists!
LOLs! So am I, too! I am not really perfect to do my English grammar but I try my best anyway.
One of my youngest daughters asked me “Why does_ talk nice to everyone, but doesn’t talk to me?” I was thinking “He likes you!” But saying “I don’t know. Ask him”
I can’t understand why so many people have such an aversion to learning something. I welcome criticism. It just might keep me from repeating a mistake and appearing stupid.
thebird55 I tend to agree - I don’t think BlitzMcD and Joe Allen Doty meant anything bad by their comments - seems to me they were just trying to be helpful!! Some people take it as such a personal affront, which is a shame. Gee, just be happy that someone cared enough to point it out! At any rate, we can all learn new things from time to time :o)

Panel 4-looks like she recognizes him!

Don’t mean to nitpick, but there are no apostrophes in “takes” or “Jacks”. The latter is a plural, not a possessive.

How about sharing a box of Cracker Jacks with her and offering her the prize?
diodonofrio about 15 years ago
That’s so romantic, Macushlalondra! Much better than my “Let’s go hide in the coat closet together during recess” line! ;o)

I remember giving a girl a ring I got as a prize in a Guess What box. Wonder what ever became of her … wonder what her name was …

That’s about the same how I “bumped” into a girl I liked but was too shy. She married me a few years later, still married 30+ years later.

Has anyone heard about the mom in Michigan? The state is threatening a lawsuit unless she stops baby-sitting her neighbors kids.

I’ve heard worse opening lines.
