i LIKE my film camera. i can do things with it that i can’t do with my digital. (for one thing, it’s a SLR camera with multiple lenses and the digi is basically for snapshots.) you should see some of my photos (though i won’t bore people here).

No bore, I’m a photog myself. A day at the air show snapping Blue Angels with a wide angle zoom–I’m in heaven!

About the strip–I’m sure Nate could plant some evidence that would implicate the mice.

Very sneaky, Nate. If you keep eating the Captain’s ice cream, you’re going to bust that stepstool soon.

    Good Morning Crew

Looks like film, but Henry called it tape. Funny stuff just the same.

Nate wouldn’t frame the mice. He’d point at the Green ship crew. As for shooting digital. I changed over from film to digital over 6 yrs ago. All my Canon EOS lenses fit my Canon 10D. Donated my 4X5 View Camera and dark room to the local high school photo club. They love it.

@Allan, I just went back for a peek and it is brutal. There are a couple (definitely know which they are) who are always looking for fights and slams. I just come to enjoy the comics, read some comments, make my own if I feel like it (always here) and move on. Others just want to be grumpy, insulting and pick fights. Jeez, I really like most everyone except for the nasty ones, and I try to avoid them most days. I thought FBoFW was going to be fine today, but I guess I was wrong. Guess I’ll go read the Onion for a laugh today.

lightenup, I feel the same. I’m always here, too, and will comment on some others but not very many!

    Morning Crew!

I also have switched from film to digital and absolutely love it!

Hey Drystyha Another TWB fan! Have you ever looked over the stuff he did/does in RL? Like the shop machines that he has restored or the “death gun” that he made? A very creative and resourceful person. Reminds me of my eldest brother.

Also a photographer from the old days. Used to run a film developing business. Which is what makes me realize that Nate will see nothing except ruined film if he pulls it out of the camera and looks at it. There’s nothing there until it’s developed, and exposing it wipes out whatever was there. Good plan all by itself. [smile]

No wonder the whole thing confused me. I kept seeing the film as a cut cable. And when did security cameras use film?

yyyguy, I have a digital SLR, multiple lenses too, and it can do everything my old 35 mm SLR did, including time lapse photography. I was a little reticent at first, but now that I’ve tried it, my 35mm is gathering dust…

What Nate doesn’t know is that was the decoy camera. The real one has caught him (or whoever) in the act.

hey crew, i guess i made a hit with the film comment. if i could afford to go digi with my SLR equipment, i would do it right now! unfortunately, i can’t, though i will eventually. film will go the way of the dodo, so i’ll have to adjust. if you can make out the details on my avatar, it’s Bow Mountain (and Glacier) reflected in Bow Lake - taken last Fall when I was driving up the Icefields Parkway from Banff to Jasper. The best of three really good photos I got all within a half kilometer. I was on my self named “drive by tour of Canada West” at the time.

Dang it. If Uclick wants us all to become geniuses and fork over the subscriptions, I know the right carrot to dangle: Geniuses should get ICONS BIG ENOUGH TO SEE!
