…and a Studebaker or Edsel or DeSoto, or maybe in a few years a Chev, Ford or Dodge.

No doubt, the kid needs to take a course in automobile history.

My family-Dad, Brother, and I-owned 10 Ramblers between us in the 60s and early 70s: from my brother’s first car (a utilitarian 54 Nash Rambler 6 to my first (a sexy 67 Marlin V8). We loved ’em all.

I could be wrong, but I’m pretty sure you’re going to have to back order that part.

I let out such a loud hoot when I read this, this morning! Like mplsstreetrwy, my father and I had so many Ramblers. We did get any senior Nashes, but they were valued a lot! Dad was a Rambler mechanic and I fell in love with Ramblers! Best cars ever made after the Cadillac.

I had a used 1966 Rambler in 1973 – 1975. Great little car! Loved those individually reclining front seats. Got over 20 MPG, which for an automatic in those days, was great.

My first car was a Rambler, bought it from my parents for $100. My husband’s second car was a Rambler Station Wagon with the fold down seats. Mine was copper color, his was green.

The Rambler was great for us kids when we went to the Drive In.

Remember that funny/cute song, “The little Nash Rambler?” the Beep-Beep song! You kiddos look up the lyrics on the web. It was fun and even more so if you owned one. We had two of them, both station wagons, and drove them right into the ground.
