May get early-bird, too.

I’ve been getting those for years. Ignore it.

Not much of a nightmare ’cos Garfield never pays for anything, anyway.

I cheerfully, nay, shamelessly, take advantage of every senior citizen discount there is. And why not? It’s one of the upsides of being old…the downsides are surely all too clear.

Most restaurants and other merchants have discontinued giving discounts to seniors. Now some restaurants have the “over 55 menu” which is smaller portions for slightly less price.

AARP has been trying to get me to join for the last 2 years. I suppose I’ll break down eventually.

I still get hefty senior discounts at a couple of restaurants. Mondays at one, Wednesdays at another. Smaller discounts the rest of the week. I use senior parking where available, too.

I don’t think I’m quite ready even for the teenage years!

I love Garfield. He and I were born on the very same day! Remember he’s only 33 this Sunday. Not really qualified for “senior” discounts yet.
