Even setting foot in a job centre is a bad sign for Andy.

SUSAN NEWMAN might think he suffers from Bone Lazitis but Andy has a long medical history of workaphobia and horizontalosis. He has a doctor’s excuse from socialized medicine.

Ergophobia is what Andy has, but I don’t know if it’s so much of a fear of work as much as it is disdain for the whole concept.

    There we go!

Andy can’t ALWAYS win. Flo must of been telling him that for years.

You have to use the right medical terminology, in this case derived from Greek. “Ergonophobia” is the word to use here – an irrational fear of any sort of work…

There’s also that Bursitis that he suffers from that prevents him from lying on one side for too long on the couch.

I don’t know if Andy is afraid of work, per se, but rather he’s afraid it will interfere with his crowded schedule of morning and afternoon naps, darts, snooker, pool, pigeon racing, football, horse racing, etc., followed by staggering home from the pub at the end/beginning of the day.
