It’s great seeing Luann here!

Hey! Where are all the older strips? I fell behind on reading Luann and now I can’t find any past strips on comics.com or gocomics. :(

Dirk isn’t coming back!

How did people comment on this strip a week ago? Was it here already? I never saw Luann in the list, but those comments seem to have been made on the actual strip dates. I was out of town all weekend — maybe I just didn’t check often enough?

Susan, looks like luann was already here since about May 24th, but not listed until June 1st

Because they can’t come up with a real reason or answer at the time.

Uh-oh…how long before Luann’s comments disappear. People got more excited about Luann’s comments than in Arlo & Janis whenever Gene (their son) and his fiance show up.

Hey good to be able to comment on Luann again! I know it’s not a good idea for the two of them to get together, but I’m secretly so egging them on! Quill’s a cutie!

Finally a real public forum again. So glad to see the Quill experiment expanded.

Luann – stop playing it safe. Let your passion boil over and get into a hot and heavy romance with Quill. Then by the time he is ready to move back to Australia, you two will have grown tired of eachother, started fighting and have already broken up. See how easy this is?

I’d wondered why the Luann comments section on comics.com was so busy. Trolls are a sad piece of work.

I’m so glad! And now my customized comics page works here – just have to edit a little, but it’s easy to add and remove strips. I’m not sure if there is a limit, so I don’t have all yet._____________And now Luann is seeing the first indications /implications of being an adult.

The boys are no doubt having a very different conversation…

Hello! Everyone from Comics.com. So good to comment on Luann again…. and shes talking w/ ‘future’ Sis-in-Law Toni. I still say “Luann, that is YOU in 5 years.”

Wait, LOOK folks. ANY guy that Luann dates could MOVE away at ANY time for ANY reason, INCLUDING guys born in the good ’ole U.S.A.! So Luann excuse is a bit of a Cop Out, IMHO. Live for the moment and have fun, fer crying out loud!

I’ve been following Luann since our kids were teenagers………very addictive!

Brooke also requested that the Pibgorn comment section be removed. Don’t know his reasons.

Unfortunately, I understand that the archives – as well as email delivery – will be available only for paid subscribers. We comics.com folks only get two months free. Unfortunately, I can get access from the office anymore. The actual strips get blocked, as of about a week, maybe two weeks, ago. Even going through my iPad on 3G doesn’t get /everything/. Oddly enough, the ads get through just fine… I’m not against a premium service – I used to be a paid comics.com subscriber way back, but I would like to be able to access the services.

From the looks of it, comments are still going to be a free-for-all. Hopefully, they’ll provide some tools proactively so we don’t have to deal with the fiasco that comics.com became. That’s particularly of interest for me, since if I do decide to sign up, a lot of my access will be over 3G where I’m having to pay for the bytes that stream down to me. To put it simply, trolling will literally be taking money out of my wallet, and if I’m paying for the service, I expect some control over what gets delivered – comments as well as comics.

For me, I think I’m happier at Greg’s site for as long as he’s willing to keep it up. Besides, it’s nice having the closer direct responses from the artist that we get from there. More than one of my email exchanges were initiated by him. As well as a more capable comments section. If you set up a bookmark for Luannalyzers, it’s a single click to get there.

If they get the technical issues adjusted and maybe some control over comments, I’ll reconsider.

I have all my strips except for Raising Duncan, That’s Life, Geech, Shirley & Son, Today’s Dogg, and Working Daze. I REALLY HOPE THEY SHOW UP!

Yes, Brooke doesn’t like commenting on his strips. Seems he has a thin skin. I really enjoy 9 Chickweed Lane, so I guess I have to overlook his “all about me” attitude.

Yeah I like the banners here too! Glad Luann is here and we can comment!!!! Awesome! I wish we could comment on Chickweed Lane too, guess that got controversial enough they wouldn’t give it a second shot. Oh well I applaud go Comics for giving Luann a chance!

9CWL doens’t have comments at the writer’s request. I suspect it may have also been due to offensive comment at one time.

I like Luann to have a guy; something about Quill is irritating, though. She can do better!

You can say the same for Luann – her hair is drawn similarly to Toni’s except hers is shorter and more yellow.

Dave-guess you don’t know the history of comments.. In the case of 9CL, it’s the artist who does not want to be bothered by the turmoil. Greg, on the other hand, wants his real fans to have access – we just need to be careful not to feed the trolls (never respond to one no matter how they try to aggravate or please). Best only to speak to names that you know, unless you are sure.

Ladyfingers, just do as I did and rearrange your page. The new site makes it quite easy.

They must be going in to the theater, not coming out. Otherwise the arc would be a bit pointless. Some action is needed inside IMO.
