    It’s a disaster alright.

This is what happens when “your” government lets the hogs run wild–free market capitalism in action.

Whoever is making and selling those massive foreclosed signs for rooftops must be making a killing.

All economic system have their limits and meet them sooner or later. I think we have reached the limits of capitalism. At least, right-wing capitalism.

Both communism and capitalism have the same goal: to rid the masses of the burden of private property.

In a communist country, you’re forbidden to have private property, by order of the wealthy elite (communist nomen clatura).

In a capitalist country, you’re free to be robbed by the wealthy elite.

Foreclosure is an economic disaster for some families but a wonderful opportunity for other families…

You can always re-group and start all over, the opportunity will always be there, try that under a Communist regime…(if you had a House to begin with)

    Right on, Ted.

Who says Republicans are the only people able to line up fanatically behind their disastrous president?

“You can always re-group and start all over, the opportunity will always be there,”

Maybe for the young and well-capitalized. But the S&P500 will have to go up 74% just to get back to where it was when this mess started. That will likely take decades. So for the retired, or people in their 50’s or 60’s who were just laid off, it’s unlikely they will be able to fully recover.
