I get the same reaction when I wear a bathing suit.

wndrwrthg, I used to scare people at the pool and beach as well, and the Bowflex didn’t help, but then I stopped wearing the leopard-print thong and my life changed. Have you tried that?

Everyone gets cool space station uniforms except the nurses, and they’re still stuck with the starched whites from the 1950s? They must have a retro-ray as well as a mutation ray.

That’s the idea… if you can’t tell that they’re nurses, you assume they’re doctors (some nurses ARE doctors… there is a doctoral degree for nursing), and they get more respect.
