    Sure hope lil Boog there likes the comics as much as Walt did when he was a kid. Sure hate to see the funnies disappear because kids dont or wont read them.

    Oh the comics that have disappeared and I am really dating myself here… Our Boarding House, Little Iodine, Freckles and his Friends, Captian Easy, Steve Canyon, Out Our Way, They’ll Do it Every Time and many others like that.

    In 6th grade, we were introduced to microfilm: entire books on a postage stamp sized piece of film. They had free samples of the King James Bible and I used to read it with a 300X microscope - just because it was cool.

    Walt is 110, born in 1898. He’s old enough to have read Thimble Theatre when Castor Oyl was the lead character and Barney Google when it was about horse racing–not to mention having two different versions of the Katzenjammer Kids to choose from.
