This is very similar to a joke I came up with about our president. I would tell people that many chicagoans thought Obama was Irish because he spelled it O’Bama. When they asked him how he could be Irish, would tell the questioner “What’s the matter? didn’t you ever hear of the BLACK IRISH?” I didn’t steal it, just chalk it up to synchronicity.
