Hey, he’s a SOMEBODY.
Great drawing … especially Gertie’s expression in the first panel and the light and shadows in the third.
Who’s watching Walt?
Earl flatters himself. She only asked who the woman was, there was no indication of jealousy.
How about an update on Amanda Lyn and Joe?
Corky must have noticed the byplay and told Skeezix he should look after Walt for one evening so Gertie can have a little fun. Obviously she hasn’t been getting out much. As for Corky, I’d speculate right now he’s sweating over his tax return….
My mom’s home attendant is given a night off and my sister and I take turns looking after my mother at those times. So there.
This story is so refreshing precisely because it’s about a relatively minor character who is suddenly given a chance to grow.
Be kinda cool if Byrd turned out to be an old friend of one of the old time characters.
Dypak, that would be cool!
