I read that Frank King himself burned a lot of the Gasoline Alley original art that he had piled up at his home. Maybe his wife made him do it. I also heard that an assistant, Jack Fox, saved about 200 originals before they were tossed into the barrel. I wonder how high a stack would be made of all the GA comic strips printed from the beginning until now.
She’s right it is a fire hazard. And you don’t need all those old newspapers. And all that talk about billions and trillions of dollars only reminded me of the current government.
Augh if you mention that T word one more time I’m gonna flag your comment. It’s sexist and inappropriate.
So the first 700 billion of our MONEY would only be around 50 miles of $ 1,000. Gweedo please tell Mr. Obama that . He is acting like a woman with some one else’s credit card at a yard sale. Skeezix recycle please .
Remodeling our old house. We pulled the dry wall off and found magazine and newspaper pages from 1926, 24 29, and 1930. Too bad they wouldn’t come off on full pieces.

Macush - Don’t forget childish. This is what I hate about the internet. If some clown started chanting T in public everyday it would be embarrassing. No one would doubt that it was childish and inappropriate. And when someone has the courage to speak up about it they should not be put down for it. But because it’s the internet people forget how to act and we’re supposed to tolerate it. Macush, you’ve got the right to ask someone to behave when they’re being offensive.

NotNorman, you know better. There’s nothing wrong with Macush and what she said. She is right. And I am not some quivering mass of self-righteous sensitivity. There is a time and place for this kind of talk, and this isn’t it.
Yay! Skeezix is back! Always great to see some of the classic characters check in while they’re still with us (given that characters do age in this strip).
And Skeezix is very much typical of his generation. I have seen many, many people who are from the Great Depression era have a difficult time throwing out anything. The propensity for being pack rats is there, because they tend to be afraid of losing everything again.
And telling them that happened in 1929 is of no avail. They still live in that fear.
I’m laughing so hard I may have trouble sleeping tonight.
Dypak thank you very much for sticking up for me. That means a lot.
I’m being accused of being politically correct by Not Norman (I still wonder if he’s not Norman who is he?) Me of all people is being accused of being politically correct! I wonder what all my friends are gonna say about this. It’s just too funny! Thanks Not Norman whoever you are for the good laugh!
Macush Don’t feed the jerks. Just flage ‘em and move on. That’s what I did to those childish inappropriate comments. It’s best not to obsess on breasts.
For those who are wondering what became of the MONDAY Gasoline Alley - I thought I would mention that the HOUSTON CHRONICLE already has Monday’s strip posted
