You don’t understand. The Swat Team is only one guy. This is due to unavoidable budget cutbacks in the Police Force, as well as lack of ink. Plus, all the other guys were sent to Iraq.
So… what happened today, did the artist learn how to draw someone pointing and decide that more is better? I noticed that Tracy and Locke are in a pointing contest. Maybe Tracy will just point at Shirle Locke until she cries and confesses that she passed on the information to Mr. B.
Maybe the artist decided it is easier to learn how to drawn an extended figure than to draw someone’s arm reaching out, which appears to be a key inability of all characters in this comic strip. Permanantly folded arms are SOOOOO in.
Also, why is there only one SWAT guy on the SWAT team, and somehow the guy int he background is standing complacently with his hands above his head (or reaching into the air to try to find a better comic?).
So many questions, and no answers. Here is a question I can answer: What kind of sandwich will DickTracy eat tonight? A peanut butter and Alpo sandwich, yeah, that’s right. Happy Hump Day, DickTracy!!
You know, Tracy has only circumstantial evidence against Shirl Locke unless he gets her cellphone and gets it read. And then again, that might not prove enough to nail her. He sure has a good case of negligence against the city’s HR dept for hiring her. And you can’t say Shirl’s the brightest light on the tree when she arrives at the bank late, parks, didn’t notice all the cop cars and SWAT trucks outside, and then runs in the door hollering if Baskerville got all the loot. Like I said, it is up to the state to prove her guilt. That might be hard to do!

I really doubt it, Gweedo. If he did he’d either get ticked off, or take a few hints…

What’s with all the dirt on Shirl’s face? Did the dog lick her – or something?
I guess she really IS a dirty cop, eh?
