For some reason, I can’t get it to work when I post it here. It works in other places. Thanks, drwatson.

Yes,those were the days! Is there any reason these “golden age” comics can’t be reprinted? I can’t be the only one who would like to see them. I have the anthologies(Celebrated Cases DT,Life hard Times LOA etc.) but there is more out there. Just wishful thinking, I guess.

Runar, when you post the link don’t put a period on the end of the sentence. The period is screwing up the URL.

Tracy looks constipated in the second panel.

Runar my guess is that an URL is a preposition and everybody knows prepositions are not something you should be ending a sentence with.

Ending a sentence with an URL is something up with which we should not put.

Log onto http://www.comicstriparchive.com/ If you archive back to January 7, 2006 you will find that that was the last time Mike Kilian’s name appeared with Locher.

Tracy looks brutal today. Same shot of the casino….again. Just like the last few stories. Saving on ink I guess.

Not to butcher the sacred cow or whatever, but I have a few criticisms of runar’s Gould strip.

How is the guy driving? No hands on the wheel. Where are the crying girl’s eyes, exactly? Depending on where I’m looking, she’s either of Asian descent or she’s the undead. Why is she suddenly in the front seat in panel 2 and 3? Where’s her left arm? How is that guy still driving with that girl falling all over him? What’s with the magically appearing cigarette in panel 3? Nothing’s happening in this strip. They’re riding in a car and talking about things that already happened. Where’s the progress? This appears to be filler. Panel 4: So someone in the building three streets over is talking to someone on the fifth floor of the building with the fountain? Are they on the phone? Are they even talking to each other, or is this some innovative way to show two people in separate but nearby places holding their own conversations, but within the same panel? There appears to be a human-like shape in the fountain - if that’s the man/woman/thing talking to the person on the fifth floor, why doesn’t the word balloon point to him/her/it?

Froxkrybra, You wont have to give your left arm for 1970’s Dick Tracy. You can get that, and ALL the other “decades” at ONE place:

ANDY FEIGHERY SPEC Productions P.O. Box 32, Manitou Springs, Co 80829. Call ANDY at 719-685-9086 He likes to hear from Tracy fans and would be delighted to help you. OR GO to: http://www.specproductions.com/

All of Tracy is reprinted in three magazines and he has all of them. 1)The Dick Tracy Magazine (DTM) 2)The Missing Years Magazine(MYM) 3)The Blackthorne Publications (BP)

The “Missing years” carry the early part of of the Moon Period, so to start in January 1970. you would need Missing Years # 29,#30, #31 and #32. (no more Tracy there after that number) You the need to go to the DT Magazines (Andy will tell you the “numbers” to get the rest of the 1970’s by Gould to 1977), and if you want what followa after by Max Collins and Rick Fletcher, it’s available.

    Best!

This is also the home of the Dick Tracy FAN CLUB.

Sydney; I’m glad someone brought up DTM and they cover a lot more than early 70’s. Start at the beginning folks and you’ll understand the reason for the less than glowing comments. Also I think I got a couple of your Trivia Dazes Sydney.

(Regarding the DT Magazine) overtop says: “Also I think I got a couple of your Trivia Dazes Sydney”

Congrats! That’s what they’re there for. I’m curious though, did you get # 202 ? (The Villain in ‘Profile’) That’s a really hard one. It’s been driving a few “experts” NUTS ! ;-)
