She only has people for the occasional snack. Doris is a good girl.

Eyes facing forward for stereoscopic vision is a sure sign of a carnivore and then there are the sharp pointy teeth.

KingRat: It’s true carnivores have forward-facing eyes, but so do primates who evolved them for survival in trees. The lemur-like ancestor who couldn’t judge the distance to the next branch was swiftly selected against.

On the other hand, there’s no need to expect much scientific accuracy from a cartoon fantasy.

pscheaer: Squirrels are not predators and have buggy eyes on the sides of their heads (for seeing predators) and they have no problem whatsoever judging distances between leaps in trees. And lemurs are still with us in Madagascar and spend time in trees.

The plot now meanders to the pet dinosaurs in Atlantis. Now I have to keep track of that while remembering Mr. Am and Warbucks on the porch, protesters and laser prototypes, the time machine, The Bunkhouse Boys, Xaxos head, maybe the fer’ners in jail in the Azores. Who did I forget. Oh, yeah - Annie!

off topic somewhat, but the wizard Vah-Lin-Tan reminds me of William Hartnell, the original Doctor of the Doctor Who series
