For you Non-New Yorkers, Senator Kierstan Gillabrand is up for election/reelection for the Senate seat Hillary vacated. I am sure Kennedy will try to knock K.G. off the ticket. New Yorker’s like legacies, look for Andrew Cuomo to go from Attorney General to Governor of NY.

CHURCH So did I – By the way, Happy New Year, I often disagreed with you, but you always wrote what you believe and didn’t just scream at people. I think I got more facts from you then anyone else that I disagreed with.

I love the Churchill quote you refer to, I just can’t go along with it. But the man knew his cigars and brandy, and if not for him most of us would be speaking German.

Bush’s 2000 campaign was all about his surname as well…so was Hillary’s (and both of them were not worth much).

CF Bush served as governor of Texas. Hillary was elected(key word elected) Senator of my state. I did not vote for her but many of my fellow NYorkers seem to have approved of her job. Bush’s job in Texas is hard to seperate from the ill will caused by his Presidency. I’m not going to get involved in the Bush argument here. However, they both had more than their name.

But their family name was part of their unofficial resume. Then I guess this makes it the first case someone had nothing OTHER than their name.
