Blondie did this same joke 50 years ago. She was in a dress store (I think) and the dialog was something like, “Well, I wear size 5… but 6 feels so good… I buy 7.”

You got that right. I’m so jealous of Blondie’s figure. As for Gertie I hope she will do something about her hair.

Yeah, Blondie is quite a gal. I always wondered how come a dope like Dagwood managed to land her.

Gertie probably keeps her hair in a bun when she’s working or doing something where she doesn’t want to mess with her hair. When it’s time to go out—providing she can land Earl—she’ll do something with it.

Aunt Bea always had her hair up, as far as I can remember, though there was that one time she bought a wig.

The more Gertie primps, the more likely it seems to me that Earl will have moved on.

Sadly , Anticipation has waned for me also .

If gussied-up Gertie fails to realize happiness . Well Mom said “don’t worry worry tell worry worries you”.

Am I the only one who sees only a white page with a tiny little blue square in the middle of the page with a question mark in it? I have sent several comments through the CONTACT US page - but do NOT have any answers from “UCLICK” yet.
