Jim Scancarelli is such a great artist - I love the final panel in the comic!

I never knew Kitty could walk…Rufus never puts him down.

In the panel with the big spider web you can see a negative image of Rufus, holding his kitty. You can also see that Rufus is carrying Kitty in the first panel. Somewhere along the line Rufus dropped her, probably in fear.

You can also, somewhat, see Rufus’ eyes in this one, another rarity.

The Halloween banner from todays strip can also be seen here http://www.gocomics.com/gasolinealley/2007/10/31 I like the black and white full panel version better.

    Great comic, thanks Jim!

Wow, the draftsmanship in this strip continues to make almost every other comic strip look like its artists are sleeping on the job.

Last week everyone was discussing the annual fall walk. We we’re looking at old archives from the late 1910’s and 1920’s. Take a look at this one from 2006, with elderly Skeezix and even more elderly Walt. Very nice.

Please, Mr. Scancarelli, if you’re trying to decide what to do with Walt as he grows older and older. Please, just freeze him in time. Or send him off to the Old Comics Strip Heros OId Folks Home. The 2006 story arc was wonderful. While some may whine and complain about what they call background characters they’re strong enough to keep the spirit and joy of Walt Wallet alive.

Staying at a large house that is haunted by a kitten? Easiest $1,000 I ever made.

I wonder if Jim has as much fun drawing these as I do reading them. Bravo for a great strip!

Most assuredly not my favorite holiday, to put it mildly. But like always, the artwork is impeccable!!

No problem, one photo of me is as insipid as another.
