'School of Music' Boy: "If you need perseverance to be a musician, what's all this I hear about unfinished symphonies?"
composers write music (and apparently don’t need perseverance). musicians PLAY music (and do). [at least in the context of the strip. to me, it would seem that playing should be easier than writing.]
I suspect that like authors, much work is left unfinished because of too many finished bottles.
@Baslim: and those that did pass on are now decomposing.

But only PDQ Bach wrote an “Unbegun Symphony”; he was “born too late to write the first two movements.”
I think in his old age he became very interested in “movements”
