Marm was being polite and subtle. He could have just trolled over and lifted his leg and peed on them. I once had a dog who peed on people he didn’t like. Yep, JUST and ONLY on people he didn’t like.
But with everyone else he was just fine. It gave us a heads up because, in the end, he was always right in his estimate of character. We learned to pay attention to what he expressed so effectively.
@beviek Absolutely! Animals who see people yawning will start yawning too. We had a horse named Colonel some years ago and my husband and the horse were very good and loving friends. My husband would mimic a big yawn and Colonel would yawn too.
We’ve done the same thing with our dogs. If we catch their attention and yawn, chances are one of them will too. Then everyone and all the dogs will start yawning. It’s comical! And fun for us and the dogs. (Yawn!)

My little boy dog doesn’t bother yawning, he just heads upstairs for his kennel when he thinks it’s bedtime. :)
