What’s a window when it’s in the way of a home run?

    I believe that if it breaks a window, it’s a ground-rule double.

Why else would Calvin want to hit a ball.

Because sometimes you want to go out and play, and sometimes you get sent out and want to find a way to be sent back inside.

If I had done that as a kid, I sure wouldn’t be gloating about it. I’d be running like the wind.

As a kid I never broke a window by hitting a ball through it… I just took the bat straight to the window. Less skill involved, but it produces a much greater effect… …and a greater punishment ;)

That was a smash hit! …and he did it with his eyes closed. But it won’t count in the record books. A bat that flexible is illegal. I also doubt that the owner of the broken window will be that flexible, either.

My brother managed to break a window once—with a croquet ball. . . .+++++Calvin loves instant gratification—in fact, without it, what’s the point?

And then there’s the whole thing about accuracy and distance. Betcha Calvin’s parents have house insurance with a deductible of about a million dollars, if indeed they haven’t been black listed to begin with.

Nothing to it,the first time your Dad will be so proud of his son.But if it happens too often he may decide that raising a star baseball player is not worth it.
