Gracie: When I grow up, I'm going to be a superhero. Dad: Nice! What will you wear? A cape? Fancy boots? A magic ring? Gracie: No... Gracie: I'm wearing hospital scrubs and a stethoscope around my neck!
Gracie, you go, girl! Those superheroes are the best kind – their deeds of daring-do actually happen – and actually make a difference in people’s lilves.
After being cut open, having various bits and pieces removed, put back together, and all parts working just as well as ever (except the ol’ appendix, of course), my surgeon was for sure my hero.
