@mabrndt Thank you. I meant to mention that I also follow the current OBH in the online washington Post or, if I buy it, the NY DAily News. I see that the arc about Willie’s original owners is being continued again. I think Willie is SOO CUTE. He really adds to the strip! I’m sure his original owners aren’t going to take him away. He has such a good, loving home with Ruthie and Joey.
@mabrndtThank you. I’m American born and raised but am interested in Turkic people and have visited the Uyghur Autonomous Area twice. I think the Uyghurs are getting a raw deal and their plight is not as well publicized as the Tibetans because the Uyghurs are Moslem. I happen to be Jewish but feel that it would be a shame for the Uyghur culture and language to disappear. One Big Happy is another of my passions.
