Thanks, GEE1A and everyone for your kind words about LILA and for your helpful advice. I decided to use my blog to update the storylines for people who are new to the strip. I will probably make changes to the blog in early August. I appreciate your help and have a great day, today. —John
JWF you work full time, you have a very ill father, and you write this strip. I think we can all wait on your blog while you catch your breath from everything going on in your life. We all care about you John more than you know.
OK folks! Let’s try to get the right thing done. “Lila” is a good (funny, thoughtful, challenging and relevant) strip. Without putting down other strips, I think “Lila” is among the very best. Yet many papers don’t carry it. A letter-writing campaign isn’t out of line – it’s a good idea. (FYI, I’ve never met JWF, though I’d like to.)
Listen up, Denver Post, Cleveland Plain Dealer, Akron Beacon Journal and others: Please run “Lila” Please!
(I’m gonna repeat this appeal occasionally. Let’s DO something!)
