I have no right to say this as a fact, but
the people who are probably most offended by hateful epithets are the people whom the epithet is designed to offend.
Gay people, or gay Oklahomans, might be most offended.
But sometimes you only have to be human to be offended by hate. I myself would rather not see it while I’m trying to read comics and the comments about them.
